Testimonial
We love this portrait so much. We’ve always wanted a portrait of the dogs. We feel like you’ve really captured them - perhaps because you have background knowledge of them? But the photo we sent was basically them being pathetic popcorn beggars but you managed to capture their personalities too! Sassy being all like “know you better acknowledge me!” And Charlie being like “Also, acknowledge me. But you know, after Sassy”. Another insane thing is that you managed to capture us too - books are so important in our life, that fire is central to our family ever winter, and that piece of furniture was the first piece of furniture I ever bought for myself. It’s just magical. You captured our whole household. It’s perfect.

For us, this was our first experience in international advocacy. Your illustrations helped us vividly communicate the thoughts we wanted to convey, capturing attention when we had only minutes, or even seconds, to lobby the CEDAW Commissioners.
The main visual, depicting women breaking free from legal restrictions and attempting to spread their wings, is a particular favourite of mine. Thank you so much for your invaluable contribution!

My Articles About Visual Art
I did Artwork for Annual NGO CSW Forum
I had the opportunity to volunteer as an artist for the online annual forum of The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) this year. CSW is an official commission of the United Nations that focuses on the rights and empowerment of women, and global gender equality.
My Paintings Became Part of the University Lecture.
It was a series of illustrations describing the secret friendship between the Japanese and Chinese space programmes in the 1970s and the 1990s. In order to take the edge off a fairly sensitive subject, he asked me to draw the illustrations in the cute and light-hearted style.
I was happy and relieved to hear the positive feedback about them from the audience.
